Once upon a time there was a schoolgirl who used to wear teddy boats ant sports trainers and even told her best friend at the time no way she’s ever going to wear heels. Hah.. And there she is now some 10 plus years later getting married in.. Louboutin seven-hundred-dollar shoes! And that seams to be the second most important thing at the wedding (after the perfect guy of course).
So what is it about the heels?

Not everybody is lucky enough to live in New York and our life is no Sex & the City movie but every girl deserves a pair of nice shoes. Especially.. on a special day! It doesn’t really matter if THE day is your wedding day, interview for a job you were dreaming of your whole adolescent life or even a first date with that awesome stranger, shoes have something, don’t they? What you are wearing, can change the feeling for ourselves or maybe even for others – who do they think you are. Never thought of that? Try. If you know you are wearing real designer shoes, of the person who convinced the whole world his fashion is worth a fortune and you can afford that fortune, that already means something. When you do wear the real thing, it gives you confidence, that you are the real thing. If those killer heels seamed impossible to walk in at first time, but here you are after couple hours (days/weeks) of practice walking with grace as a princess from the fairytale – doesn’t that mean you have conquered at least one person – yourself? Here comes the confidence. The everyday heels might not be Gucci's, Prada’s, Louboutin's or Manolo's, but heels makes you look different – you just have to keep your back straight and your head high, so you feel different and of course ant other people might notice it as well.
All that said, let’s go shopping for the perfect shoe for THE day? My sincerest apologies for those who are not looking for bridal shoes at the moment, but that would be my focus of today (as myself is the one getting there). I just took a look at probably the most special wedding of the year – the royal ones. What did Megan Markle wear?
The new Duchess of Sussex wore silk duchess satin pumps based on a Givenchy refined pointed couture design. Next one to come in mind is not the most practical, but definitely not less of a fairytale and the cutest ever blue and white butterfly bridal shoes by Sophia Webster. The Chaira butterfly shoes feature silver leather toe strap, stud detail, and has ‘Wifey for Life’ printed on the sole.
For girls who love the feeling of little happily ever after here comes shoes that say exactly that by Charlotte Mills — Happily Ever After embroider on the silver hearts on these shoes coupled with sparkly silver block heels.

It just was to hard to decide which one is the perfect shoe, so happen to have them both.. And both of them are perfect. Luckily, two day wedding celebration is most popular here in Lithuania.
